Terms of Service

A host creates an account and sets up an event gallery. A guest reaches that gallery with a link and access code and can upload photos without an account.

Hosts are responsible for who they share an access code with, and for the photos collected in their event. Guests are responsible for the photos they upload.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a host account, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.

You keep ownership of every photo you upload. You grant HavenPic a limited license to store, process, and display that photo for the purpose of operating the event gallery you uploaded it to — nothing more. We do not use your photos to train models, and we do not license them to anyone.

By uploading, you confirm you have the right to share the photo and that the people in it would not object to it appearing in the host's gallery.

• Upload content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Upload intimate or explicit images of anyone, or images of a person who has not consented to being photographed.
• Attempt to reach an event you were not invited to, including by guessing access codes.
• Probe, scan, or otherwise attempt to disrupt the service or the accounts of others.
• Use the service to send unsolicited messages or to harvest personal information.

We may remove content or suspend an account that violates these rules.

An event's upload window closes automatically 24 hours after the host publishes it, or earlier if the host ends it. Galleries remain accessible to the host until deleted.

We work to keep HavenPic available and your photos safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. Hosts can download a full archive of an event's photos at any time.

Hosts can delete individual photos or an entire event. Deleting an event permanently removes every photo shared with it, for everyone, and cannot be undone. To close a host account entirely, write to privacy@havenpic.com.

HavenPic is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost photos, beyond what applicable law requires. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page will change, and continued use means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
